23rd November 2017Are you living with dementia or do you care for someone who is living with dementia? Would you like to find out more about dementia and what supports there are in the local community? Ceartas and Alzheimer Scotland have teamed up to help answer some of the questions you may have.
Our free Dementia Awareness Event is on Thursday 16th November 2017 from 1-3pm. It is in the Milngavie Youth Centre, 23 Mugdock Rd, Milngavie, G62 8PD. During the event you will find out more about what dementia is and how it can affect people, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions. In addition you will also be able to meet others affected by dementia and find out about local groups for people with dementia and their carers.
There will be light refreshments and musical entertainment provided by Bill McMillan, an accomplished musician who often performs locally.
