Carers Link, in conjunction with the Dementia Centre in Stirling, will be hosting an evening information session specifically on dementia.
The aim of session is to discuss:
- What is dementia?
- The common stages/progress of some dementias
- Information on coping with the impact of the various dementias e.g. behaviour that is challenging; wandering, repetitive questions, incontinence, etc.
- The common themes experienced by those looking after someone with dementia such as – guilt, anger, frustration
There may also be an opportunity to ask some specific questions if time allows.
To provide this opportunity to as many carers as possible, the session will take place in the evening at Milngavie Enterprise Centre and a light buffet will be provided.
Date: Monday 30th October 2017
Time 6.00 pm – 8.30pm
If you would like to attend, please call Heather, Jon or Rose on 0800 975 2131 or email email@example.com no later than Friday 20th October.
